UP Terms of Use
Last updated: 5 November 2026 · Operator: Emre Türkoğlu, individual Apple Developer (not a company) · Governing law: Republic of Türkiye; disputes are subject to the courts of Türkiye · Contact: team@standrank.com
By using UP you accept these terms, the Community Guidelines and the Privacy Policy.
The product
UP is an iPhone app where you show, for a while, what you're up for, and others can write to you. It is for people 18 and older; you confirm this when you create an account. UP is not a dating service, takes no payments, ranks no one and uses no location.
Accounts
- You create your account with Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for the device and the Apple ID you use.
- One person, one account. Don't pretend to be someone else.
- UP may remove content, close statuses and close accounts that break these terms or the Community Guidelines. A closed account can't use the app, can't be deleted and can't be opened again with the same Apple ID.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Me → Settings → Delete account). Deletion can't be undone; the Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and what stays.
Statuses
- A status is open for the time you pick (30 minutes, 2 hours, tonight or 1 day) and closes by itself when the time is up. You have one status at a time; a new one closes the old one. You can extend a status by 30 minutes at most twice.
- Your display name, your own line and your note are public text. They can't contain contact details, swearing, harassment, sexual content or advertising; moderation keeps such text from being published.
- A status means what it says: one you open for coffee is for coffee. You may not use UP for sales, advertising, paid services or sexual offers.
Anonymity and revealing yourself
- In an anonymous status your name is hidden; your status, district, note and your STAND Level, if you have one, are shown. Anonymity is there to protect you, not to let you bother others. Our team can see the account behind an anonymous member who is reported.
- When you reveal yourself in a chat, the other person sees your name and profile photo. This can't be undone.
Meeting up
UP lets people write to each other; whether you meet in real life is your decision and your responsibility. UP does not verify members' identities and can't guarantee that a meeting is safe. Meet somewhere busy, tell someone close to you where you are, arrange your own transport, and leave if you feel uncomfortable.
What you must not do
- Use UP if you are under 18.
- Harass or threaten anyone, or try to find out who someone is or where they live.
- Post hate speech, calls to violence, offers of sex for money, or any sexual content involving anyone under 18.
- Use someone else's photo or name.
- Automate, scrape, attack or try to get around the limits of the service.
Your content
You keep the rights to the photos you upload and the text you write. You give UP permission to store and process them and to show them to other members so the service works. This permission lasts as long as the content is kept on UP.
Moderation and reports
UP has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Report and Block are on every profile and in every chat. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks the rules and close accounts where needed. The person you report is not told who reported them.
STAND and RIGHT
UP is part of the STAND ecosystem, but your UP account is separate from your STAND and RIGHT accounts. The STAND Level shown on UP is read from STAND; UP doesn't compute or change it. A Level is not a promise of status or value outside the apps.
Testing period
UP is open only to invited testers (TestFlight) for now. The test version may have bugs, and Discover includes sample profiles that are not real people.
Liability
UP is provided as is, without a promise that it will work without interruption or errors. To the fullest extent the laws of Türkiye allow, the operator is not liable for how members behave towards each other, for meetings between people who met through UP, or for indirect damages.
Changes
When we change these terms we update the date at the top. Continuing to use UP after a change means you accept the new terms.
